God Raises and PvP

Post by WanderingPoet » Sun Jun 25, 2017 5:45 pm

I usually keep my piety at 100% and have had Akadi save me more than a few times. However, the three times I've died in PvP Akadi has been preoccupied - do god raises not work in PvP?

Nope, god raises don't work in PvP. You can still -pray to get rid of negative effects/refill HP, though.

The cleric can also use pray to hammer strike other PC/NPC. Although certain ammount of piety would block the effect on opponent (not sure if it works only if target is cleric or anyone). It deals like 150 magical dmg.

I have not seen this in many years. Is it still a thing?

I've seen a god raise work in pvp against Wharftowners recently but it was in a timestop so that may have been the reason or they could still work!

Usually in PVP you get such dmg you are killed outright no bleeding. MY theory only.

But god raise works on summons.

It happened to me a couple months ago; although I had enough piety to evidently "resist" the effect.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it work in PvP.
Some builds I've worked on (not recommended):
Charisma Battlecleric
"E-Dodge Brycer"
