I played for several years on another non-hak server and they had something that I've not seen here so I was wondering if it was possible and no one did it or if it was something not mechanically supported.
Can casters make enchanted gems?
A single use gem that can be used by anyone even without UMD. I don't think they stacked, for obvious reasons.
Lower value gems only held lower spells, etc.

In FL server there is already a way to create magical items with spell/day. The code is already there.

Craft wondrous item: Requires: Brew potion. Scribe scroll. Craft wand. Allows the caster to enchant a ring with spell for one use per day. Dependent on the alchemy skill.
