As log files were determined to be the root of the problem, I find myself compelled to ask- would it be a viable solution to just dump all logs older than a year? (Are there any major instances in which you will need log files older than a year?)
The server has been going for more than one year now since it migrated.
Or are these not the kind of logs you can just erase by date? Are they one massive log file for each character that grows in size as the character ages? If so, could these be pruned for length? Would anything be negatively affected by such pruning?
I realize you guys probably already have a handle on this but I'm just spitballing ideas until I know for sure that you've already figured out a way to make sure this doesn't happen again next month.
Need moar inputz.

Bane's tyranny is known throughout the continent, and his is the image most seen as the face of evil.
