Animal Domain & Conjuration Spell Foci
Good evening beautiful people!
I know that animal domain and conjuration foci do stack, not in the way that a character can summon a creature two tiers higher but in that some bonuses are added.
Now I looked left and right and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how it stacks and what that effectively means for bonuses on summons. Could someone assemble this info in the style of "Domains and Conjuration Stacking for Dummies"?
And while we're at it... is there a table with bonuses to summons from epic caster levels? EDIT: Scratch that, found it:

Thanks in advance

Re: Animal Domain & Conjuration Spell Foci
So animal domain + G-conj will get you 1 tier higher summons as normal, and also the greater spell focus bonus that planar summons would get.Summon Creature
Greater Conjuration Focus only raises the summon tier by 1 instead of the bonus above. Warlocks do not get the raised tier, but the one shown above. Casters with the Animal domain and Greater Conjuration Focus will receive both the increased tier and the summoning bonus.

I'm not sure what 1235 is aiming for.The wiki wrote:Each level of focus provides:
+1 to all skills the summon has ranks in
+1 hit dice worth of hit points (meaning, as if the creature was 1 level above in terms of HP, both adding base class HP and CON modifier).
+1 AB
+1 Damage
+1 AC
+1 Universal Saves
You get +1 increased tier, and the bonus above for every relevant spell focus you have (Conjuration in the case).
It's all literally just in the article you posted.

Is it...? Is it possible that i misunderstand the meaning of tier?Iceborn wrote:I'm not sure what 1235 is aiming for.The wiki wrote:Each level of focus provides:

Re: Animal Domain & Conjuration Spell Foci
Oh. I think I get it now.
So the effect of summoning creatures one level higher is basically applied through the animal domain. The normal and greater spell focus: conjuration then both add the bonuses mentioned above, so:
+2 to skills
+2 to hit dice
+2 AB
+2 Damage
+2 AC
+2 Unisaves
Assuming a character does not have the animal domain, does that half the bonus since the upgrade to the next higher is applied through greater spell focus: conjuration? Or does the greater focus (without the animal domain!) give both the tier upgrade and the bonus?

If you don't have animal domain conj focus ONLY gives the summon creature line the tier upgrade.

Tier:
http://wiki.arelith.com/Summons
With Animal Domain OR Great Conjuration Focus, you summon a creature one tier higher (Summon Creature VI brings the Summon Creature VII elemental instead of the tiger).
With Animal Domain AND Each Conjuration Focus that you have, you summon a creature one tier higher AND you get +1 to all the stats above, as you said with Greater Focus.
It's really all written in the article.
