So my question is as follows, we have a nice and dandy spell Regenerate.
Can I actually empower the thing?...seeing as its lvl7 for Clerics, it seems mechanically doable.
But is it in reality?...I don't really have a high level cleric to check.
Also a side question, I remember some vague changes about healing domain, does regenerate maybe fall into the spells effected or not?
And a side-side question, does it stack with other sources of regen. For example, I cast regen on myself, and have a water elemental regen on top of that aura.

Re: Regarding Regenrate and empower
I'm not entirely sure about empowering regenerate, I haven't even tested it but it does stack with each other. I would presume you could empower it as its not listed in the nwn wiki of spells not empowerable.
Regenerate does indeed stack with elemental aura, doesn't stack with monsterous regen though, I don't believe. The duration has been changed from rounds/level to turns/levels on Arelith which is super handy

Re: Regarding Regenrate and empower
1. You can't empower it by default. In fact you can't empower any of the seventh circle spells ( You can't empower monstrous regenerate either ), you can however, and if you want to get the most use out of the spell, put it on extended. It's free healing kits in PvE.
2. I don't think so.
3. I know that blackguard summon regenerate + summon aura regenerate stacks, if that helps.

I guess that answers my question. Thanks folks! <3
Re: Regarding Regenrate and empower
Water elemental regen will stack.
However, if you're healer pathing, it won't contribute to the overheal-healing.
Healer path doesn't affect the regeneration spell, but regeneration will refresh and increase the healer path's overheal.

Thankfully this team is no longer being used.

Re: Regarding Regenrate and empower
The key term in empower's description is 'variable', meaning that only elements of the spell with a dice roll component will be multiplied by 1.5.
Re: Regarding Regenrate and empower
See the bit below that in the wiki though:
Empowerment takes place after rolls are modified by non-variable effects. For example, an empowered ray of frost does (1d4 + 1) × 1.5 damage. That is, rolling a 3 gives (3+1)×1.5 = 6 damage, not 3×1.5 = 4.5, truncated to 4, plus 1 for 5 damage.
