Do bard levels count towards caster levels for undead tier summons?

No. Bards don't get animation spells, so why would they?

I think if you get mummy dust it doesn't matter.

As I understand the patch, only PM lvls are relevant for the undead caster lvl for PM abilities. No other class (except maybe harper paragon? lol) adds CL to the PM caster lvl. However, the PM lvls add 1/2 caster lvls to the prior class CL, bard in this case. Someone correct me if I got it wrong.
