-yoink on sailing NPC boats prone to crashing servers?

Post by Gerhazo » Fri May 03, 2024 9:40 am

Description of Bug Experienced:
I have observed on several occasions now, on both ends of it, when people get -yoink conjured onto an NPC boat, usually the ship's lowerdecks as most action occurs there, the surface server tends to sometimes crash.

Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Elusive, doesn't happen consistently, but on several occassions now it happens as a person is -yoink conjured onto a boat.

Expected Result:
Not crashing.

Actual Result:
Server crashing.

Additional Information/Notes
Am aware there is very little to go off to, but there appears to be a direct correlation of the two, as I've seen it happen several times now. Maybe there are some server logs that might point to details about any potential causes or something.
Am not sure if this is specifically related to the sailing NPC encounters, perhaps related to how the sailing areas are generated? Or something that might just happen anywhere.

The same day as I posted the thread, conjuring someone onto a boat under separate circumstances, the server crashed again when I used -yoink while on an NPC boat, moments before me posting this.

(as soon as the animation plays, no one appears, my targetted commands don't cause any response, AI is no longer processing and I timeout not long after the clip, the server had crashed)
