Wrathful Castigation Ignores Death Immunity
As a spell that has you rolling vs. death and has the death descriptor you'd expect death ward to block it. It does not. Failing the fortitude save with death ward active is very much lethal. Looks unintentional.

The 9th level Illusion spell Wierd ignores death immunity but not mind immunity.
Perhaps this spells is designed to do the same. Enchantment is a spell school in need of more perks/reasons for players to take it, especially as its epic bonus is currently non functional.

Re: Wrathful Castigation Ignores Death Immunity
Probably better to reference the spell description as used by the Dev in question. Many of the new spells differ a little from the PnP base.Wrathful Castigation
Caster Level(s): Cleric 8, Wizard / Sorcerer 8
Innate Level: 8
School: Enchantment
Descriptor(s): Death, Mind-Affecting
Component(s): Verbal, Somatic
Range: Short
Area of Effect / Target: Single
Duration: 1 Round / 2 Levels
Additional Counter Spells:
Save: Fortitude Partial, Will Partial
Spell Resistance: Yes
The spell causes wracking pain and violent convulsions to the target creature and they must make a Fortitude save or die instantly.
A surviving target receives a Will save to avoid further effects.
Subjects failing the Will save are dazed for the duration of the spell and suffer 1d4 per caster level (Max 20d4) as damage.
Could certainly make an argument for it being mind affecting and not death. But that's for feedback rather than a bug report I imagine. I've already asked for some clarity on how the immunities are supposed to work in the Q&A Thread.
Characters: Izzy, short for Isabel. Shaena Ash.

Ah I misunderstood, I thought you wanted a picture of the in-game description.

My bad: post was a bit unclear. Not like it hurt anyone anyway
