Description
==========
As per Wiki: "In addition, if a character has a crafting skill of at least the DC of the crafting check she makes a Mastery Roll versus the DC + 20. Succeeding this check overcomes failures in starting a project or adds one extra point of progress for active projects."
However, this does not appear to be the case. I've had this happen a few times before, I recall mastery saves working appropriately a while back, though.
Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
Fail a craft attempt when your skill exceeds the DC of the item you are trying to craft.
Expected result
-----------------------
Mastery roll comes to the rescue and gives you a chance to save.
Actual result
-------------------
You just fail.
Screenshot(s)
--------------------
Lightshot failed me and screenshot disappeared. But here's another example from another craft fail with no roll. This time beat the DC by 2, but it's my understanding it should still trigger a mastery roll.
Notes
---------
Skill: 20
Item: Glass Vial
Craft DC: 3
Skill: 37
Item: Assembly Template (Stable)

Mastery Rolls Not Triggering On Craft Fail

Re: Mastery Rolls Not Triggering On Craft Fail
mastery only saves on creation. progression rolls only a success triggers the mastery to gain extra points and a 1 is always a fail so no trigger

Re: Mastery Rolls Not Triggering On Craft Fail
The screenshot shows the creation failed, it's not progression. Didn't see a mastery roll after the fail for a possible save, which I've seen before.
Re: Mastery Rolls Not Triggering On Craft Fail
ive seen mastery trigger saves on a 2 never on a 1

Re: Mastery Rolls Not Triggering On Craft Fail
It should roll a mastery roll on a 1.
Re: Mastery Rolls Not Triggering On Craft Fail
Don't know if I was unlucky before or what, but it seems to be working again.
And yes, apparently it does roll on 1 after all!
