Does not affect all allies as advertised?

It does affect all allies, just within a radius

Sometimes it doesn't work properly (it doesn't affect all allies, even within a radius). It's a bug.

Same with the Mass Heal. Results can sometimes be random with who will be healed even if all characters in radius are hugging the cleric.

I believe that this is an EE issue that extends to all AoE effects. I've noticed that a large array of AoE spells occassionally don't register some targets even when they are clearly within the AoE.

This is, as far as I know, correct; You'll see it on all AoE spells.

So go to Beamdog's forums, if you can actually get them to acknowledge it's a bug that exists.

You're right. Participating in the forums was a mistake. Won't do this again.

I think it might have to do with Wild Magic zones and EE together?

This probably explains the PDK issues then too. Thanks Beamdoggo.

Can confirm this to be bugged.

Bug variations:
  • Mass Haste only affects x people out of y.
Mass Haste affects no one at all.
It seems harder to reproduce standing still, than it was actually doing something, so it might be a terrain issue? Not sure on that, that's pure speculation.

From the data I gathered, observing it through a couple of hours, the percentage of it failing seemed to be in the ~20-30 % range.

Considering how much of a marquee spell this is for casters across the server and how annoying it is to have even a single one wasted in a dungeon, it'd be great, if we could see this fixed.

I attempted to fix, but it will only work for party members, if it works we managed to work around it.

If it doesn't then it's a beamdog bug not so easily fixed, on our end.
