Visual Armour Bug
Last night I had an incident whereby I bought some new armour (mithril), and I couldn't change any of the parts on it, or the colours.
I switched back to my old set to find the belt and shoulders had completely disappeared, nor could I change that set.
I relogged, switched, added robes, removed robes, did all sorts of fun things. No dice.
Spyre witnessed this, he can back me up.

The belt and shoulders thing is "normal". Those got ENHANCED by one of the recent updates.
Not being able to modify colors and shapes is weird, though.
Try it again after a server reset.

Re: Visual Armour Bug
If you have missing belt and shoulders, the only armor parts with "0" appearances, viewtopic.php?f=12&t=19985&p=162931#p162931 I talk a bit about it in this other bug report. Generally, until the next patch (this bug was fixed days after the last patch, which is already weeks and weeks ago), either always have shoulders and belts, or never have shoulders or belts. Switching back and forth is not friendly.
The colors and other parts will need some looking into.

I didn't switch off either part. Neither of them were 0. But it "appears" as if they were 0.
Re: Visual Armour Bug
Sort of relevant to the topic, icons don't seem to work very well. My clothes, despite being green in colour, appear blue in my inventory. Same with my full plate.

Yeah, it is. My armour appears black and silver, but in inventory, there's gold on it?
Also, update: It's just this suit of armour. The steel set I used to use works fine. The mithril set I'm trying to change does not.

Ohh I thought I was seeing things.
The funny thing is if I use my shadow ability to cover me in shadow, its fixed afterwards. Well until I log off and back in.
Weird.

Oh yeah thats been a bug since the per-part coloring was introduced, I get it with shadow shield too. It's not to big a butt to fix, just hit R, and go to a part, color, tell yourself the color you used original for the part and the whole thing fixes.

It's faster and easier to enable and disable your hood with the "-hood" command.Atlantahammy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 01, 2018 8:50 amOh yeah thats been a bug since the per-part coloring was introduced, I get it with shadow shield too. Re: Visual Armour Bug
Well in my case, it didn't "fix", it resets to the "default" colouring. I can't colour this armour at all, it won't stick.

Re: Visual Armour Bug
I've worked it out!
It's because I was trying to colour all body parts, and the armour had previously been part-coloured!
All fine now. Except the belt. But we'll work on that.

Fixes
We fixed certain armour pads (specifically, belts and shoulder pads) disappearing when re-equipping a item.
