Treadstone portal is now able to be used by surfacers.

Before it was locked down to only be used by those from the Underdark.

There's a certain exploit that allows surfacers to use UD people-only portals, maybe it was that? Also, at this point I'm not sure if that exploit is just an exploit or an actual secret feature.

Exploit?????? Ever since the EE update portals have been open to everybody.

Not everybody can use any portal and that simply hasn't been the case.

I know in the update section it says:

Planar Portals will now work across servers.

Please report any bugs on the bug forum (some people may find they need to reattune)

We'll gradually be restricted some from being used only by surfacers/UDers.


So sounds like they are working to restrict portals.

Portals have been restricted and when migrated, continued to be restricted.

Outcasts / Slaves would have access to it.
