Trap testing

Post by ForgottenBhaal » Sat May 19, 2018 12:20 pm

For some reason, Negative energy traps damage undead. Not sure why. The Wiki claims it should heal them.

Also- For some reason you never see the damage dealt with the trap. Is that something that should be fixed Beamdog side or here?

That's... not right.
I mean, the wiki.
Negative energy SPELLS heal undead; every other form of negative energy as damage, damages.
Coincidentally, most undead also have 100% of damage immunity to negative energy.

Im refering to the NWN wiki itself;
"Negative energy traps heal undead the same amount they would damage others. Also, the undead do not suffer the associated negative effects. "
There really is not much information on traps on the arelith wiki

To not say, nothing, because in theory traps are unmodified from vanilla.

Also- Something super odd. Sometimes you can add properties to traps. Sometimes it overwrites, and sometimes it just adds one more property. Not sure how it works.

..And you always gotta trade traps twice, as it returns to your inventory for some reason the first time.

(And the additional qualities actually does nothing? Which is odd.)
(And if you remove them from a trap box, they go back to only 1 quality)

Warlock negative blasts also damage undead, rather than heal them or do nothing to them.
