So, I had 11 Flameberries in my inventory and I was trying to sell it at the Street Peddler in Cordor Cultural District.
The price for all 11 pieces is 334 gold. I didnt think this was right, cuz when I read the description of Flameberry the gold value is 1333 gold...
So I went to my inventory and just divided my stack. Then I individually sold them 334 each ... ended up with 3674 gold.
That's a bug... I think...

The max payout from an NPC for one item is in the 350-400 range. For some items, you are better off to break up stacks before selling them.

It's just a feature of NWN. As mentioned, break them up into individual pieces every time like you had.
