Duergar and Dwarven Waraxe

I recently created a Duergar. He was able to use and -twohand a Dwarven waraxe without issue, but when I took weapon focus battleaxe, it didn't translate to a +1 AB on the Dwarven waraxe either on the character sheet or in combat. Do the feats work for Duergar as they would for Dwarves? Also, will making a battleaxe weaponmaster allow them to use a Dwarven waraxe with all of the weaponmaster feats?

Battleaxe and dwarven waraxe are two different weapons. You'll need weapon focus dwarven waraxe to get that.

An update a month ago tied battleaxe and Dwarven waraxe together for Dwarves. Relevent quote by Dunshine:

"Aside from the Dwarven Waraxe being available to all Dwarves by default since recently, the weapon feats for dwarven waraxe are tied to the battleaxe ones. So taking any of them in Battleaxe, will result it the same feat being added for Dwarven Waraxe as well."

Oh ,I missed that. Sounds like you do indeed have a bug.

Hm, actually.. does this work for weapon of choice as well (The wm feat)? Is it even needed (does weapon of choice even check for the proficiency still or just for the focus)?

The code that handled this was accidentily removed by a recent update. It's pushed back in, so should work again now.

Weapon of Choice is treated similar yes.
