Re: Shadowmage/SD
The caster levels are added to the PC, not to the shadow.
How did you test those?

Re: Shadowmage/SD
Unless I am mistaken caster levels should grant extra spell slots/higher level spells for wizards. At level 3/3 the character has the same spell slots/max spell level as a level 3 shadow mage.

You are mistaken TtTargaryen.
Currently it gives only CL - means power of Your spells increases.
I am working on a fix for those spellslots.

I'm still not convinced after playing today, the shadow definitely has sneak attack still.miesny_jez wrote:You are mistaken TtTargaryen.

Shadows Feats: Blind Fight, Crippling Strike, Sneak Attack (+1d6).
The shadow has a sneak attack dice by default.

This is from the forum's explanation of the class combo and where I was getting my information:Bjorn Blue Tiger wrote:

Shadowmage Forum Entry wrote: May take levels in Shadowdancer without meeting the usual skill and feat requirements. Instead of gaining Sneak Attack from their shadow, Shadow Mages get +1 caster level per Shadowdancer level.
Re: Shadowmage/SD
The shadow mage does not receive sneak attack from their shadow, but the shadow itself still has sneak attack damage.

Didn't want to make a new thread for this. Not sure if this is by design but the CL doesn't count towards undead summoning level either.

Re: Shadowmage/SD
So, maybe I'm being redundant, but just to be clear - The SD levels do not give the shadow mage spell slots and new spell levels yet?
