Invisible/hostile npcs?

Hello,

I am entirely new to this server. I am having a strange issue where many NPCs are invisible to me. These same NPCs are for some reason tagged as hostile NPCs for like the first 30 seconds after zoning in.

At first it didn´t really bother me, but then one of the NPCs I am supposed to talk to for the Speedy Deliveries is invisible as in I cannot interact with them at all. I just see their name floating.
Ideas on how to deal with this would be welcome.

It's a NWN problem. Relogging fixes it.

I´ve actually done that a few times. And rested a few times like it said on similar sounding bugs, but it has not affected anything.

What's even more strange is that the NPC is hostile to you I've never seen that glitch before. That's strange!

Have you tried leaving the area, logging out (and closing NWN), logging back in, and then enter the area again? I suggest you give it a try.

I just tried all that (went back to the governmental district and closed out before returning) but it has had no effect.

Seems like an issue with an outdated override. Most likely one of your custom .2das (if I had to guess, appearance.2da).

Try disabling your overrides temporarily and see if that fixes it.

Logging out and in again, did never solve the problem for me. I had to close NWN entirely.

That actually did it for me. I entirely removed the .2da and it seems like things are normal now. I hope it wasn´t important for anything >_<

I´ll just save it in another folder for now.
