Enchanted Jewelry Box

Had one made, and cannot put anything in it. Tried to put a necklace/amulet into it... nothing. Gemstones... nothing. Tried the 'take all suitable items' option... and it took nothing.

Is it the item that is bugged or am I incompetent?

Edit 1: Went to a vendor and bought a Ring and an Amulet from them, and both went in just fine. The Stunning Ruby Brooch that I found off of an NPC still won't go in.

Edit 2: Went out and killed some goblins and got two amulets from them. Both went in, so it seems to be just this one amulet.



Edit 3: Bloodstone Amulet (mob drop) won't go in either.

It seems any of the newer named jewellery like the Tribal Ring won't go in either.

It doesn't work at all. I can't put jewelry in it.

Both of these worked on testing and on game. I may have set something up incorrectly and will check when I get home.

I just checked both the Echanted (Weight Reduced) Jewellery Box, and the Ornate Jewellery Box, both are working as intended, also with all the new jewellery types.

Keep in mind these containers are for storing and selling mundane jewellery items, and will not work on those that have properties.

Also, it can sometimes be the case that such containers (headbags etc) can bug until the next reset.

Though yes, its all working!

I killed some goblins walking from Cordor towards the Arcane Tower. Picked up a couple of odd and end jewelry (Bluestone Amulet for one) that couldn't go in. When I server transitioned to the Surface, I tried the "Place all suitable.." and it took it. I'll play with it more and see if I can narrow down what doesn't work and why.

Maybe there is a problem on C&P somehow? I did just check it on the surface.

EDIT: Just checked and it works for me on both servers.

Walking from the Tower to Bendir I killed some more goblins and all their jewelry went in just fine. I'm thinking you're right, that it is something on C&P

Walked back to Cordor, and jewelry on both servers seemed to go in just fine now.

Okay, just walked through the Arelith forest and killed some things. Picked up a Studded Zios Necklace and Jade Ring among other Jewelry. The box took all but those two and won't accept them. The box even has a Jade Ring in it, but won't take another. Relogging didn't change it.

Edit 1: This just got even more weird. I went to a Jeweler and 'sold' everything in it. But when I open it up it has a list of stuff still in it. Clicking on each item removes it from the list but does not put an item in my inventory. I'm 95% sure the items shouldn't actually be there, I think I emptied it earlier and didn't get that much on my short walk through the Forest.

It tells me in yellow letters "You can't find the object you are looking for in the container" as I 'remove' the items. After emptying it, I still cannot add the two items mentioned above to it.

Edit 2: Went back to the C&P server and into the Coal Mines. Picked up a lot of jewelry from the Xvarts there, and none of it will go into the box other than Copper Rings

Yeah, Chaesendra and I are having hit-and-miss success with it.

So far, the vanilla NWN jewelry seems to go in but none of the named stuff. Will do further testing.

I can confirm that this has not been fixed as of the reset that just happened. I have an enchanted jewelry box that will only hold silver necklaces.

My box won't take gold rings for example.

Key part there being 'after it goes live'. I can push out the fixes but only a few people can make them go live; and then they'll be picked up the following reset.

Basically the fixes are out but awaiting approval. And hopefully this didn't cause any secondary bug.

No problem, I understood what you meant, but since we have no way to know if it had gone live yet I was updating that it wasn't working post reset. If it had gone live that would have informed you that it didn't work.

There may be some secondary bugs that were caused by the first bug that would cause issues and I would therefore like to be informed.

My initial post was to keep the thread getting clogged with even more reports of it not working, due to the fix not yet being in.

And then offering some clarification off of dark dreamer's post.

Server has been up a little less than two hours. I have two Bluestone Amulets in my inventory. Neither one will go into an Enchanted box

Mine is broken, It unloaded the first time ok, but upon examination it shows all items are still in there even though they are not and now can't be reload at all. Was waiting for a reset to see if it clears itself out.

Seems the items will have to be readded. Which likely means waiting for irongron as he's able to do/familiar with that part.

Same thing here. Box is showing 0.5 however it's giving me a prompt of full when trying to put anything new in it.
