Weapon disappeared?!

So about three minutes ago we had an RPR tick, and my equipped Greensteel Kata with 1d6 sonic just disappeared. Didn't drop, didn't unequip just gone.

I wasn't pick pocketed as far as I"m aware, and no-one else saw it drop.

Not sure if this is a bug or something?

Were you forced to drop it because of full inventory earlier in the session? That can lead to this bug if you don't relog after picking the weapon back up.

If you have a full inventory/nearly full and unequip your shield/weapon, you'll drop them with only a tiny notification in your combat log. Easy to do when it's late or you're not paying attention

It wasn't that. It disappeared when I deposited money into the bank.

I understand from the OP that nothing like that happened when it disappeared, but did it happen earlier in the session?

Nope. Nothing did at all. I unequipped it once but it had enough inventory space to go back to my bag after which i re-equipped it no problems.

For what its worth, I lost an adamantine tower shield under similar circumstances 2 days ago. I thought it an isolated incident. If it keeps happening to more people, that could be the sign of something broken.

Might not be related, but I lost one of those heavy stones you use for pandemonium. Picked it up then switched to barter with someone else and it was just gone.

This just happened to me too. Literally just logged in and put a weapon away, logged out with it equipped. Had plenty of inventory space but it just disappeared.

you lot use the containers a lot? could be weapon or shield is flagged wrong and get thrown into a jewel, head or otherwise container?

Don't use the containers at all. I screenied the incident and sent it to the active DMs. I had literally just logged on and de-equiped my weapon all within a span of 15 seconds.

I lost one of my 2 spell component pouches today. It was right after getting out of a polymorhp self, it was still red colored for unsusable item, I had the rightclick radial for it open, left clicked on it a couple of times and then it vanished.

Edit: although I'm not 100% sure I didn't drop it, but if I did, I didn't notice the animation for it.

I have noticed that even if I carry my shield all the time and have space for it in my pack, that if I click on my sword/shield on the quickslot it suddenly chucks the shield to the ground and then a minute later magically equips it again.

I put Goggles of minute seeing in the enchantment basin and the server crashed seconds later. Haven't been able to log back on as yet but I think they will be gone
