Slave fred from clamp. Still hated by Surface NPCs

Hello there!

Description of Bug Experienced:
My character Viridovix has done succesfully the quest to free himself from enslavement. This was done this Monday prior reset.
Yet my character sheet presents the (slave) tag yet, in fact I cannot talk to certain NPCs (wriwork quest givers and fast travels) since they think I still belong to the UD faction I believe? Plus I had to -dis myself to erase the (slave) tag from my char's name.
I threw away the Underdark Writwork association sheet and abadoned all the quests, still no luck whatsover.

Steps to reproduce the Bug:
-Begin quest for freedom
-do all the tasks given by the NPC
-travel to the location needed
-speak with the dwarf NPC
-get free!
-clamp removed
-darksteel ring still in inventory cannot throw it away
-writworks abadoned
-UD writwork papers thrown away
-wait for reset

Expected Result:
Surface NPC faction(s) friendly I suppose?

Actual Result:
Surface NPCs quest givers and fast travel ones recognize me as a slave still.

Did you take slavery as a background from start? If so that can present some bugs even after release. I /think/ it should be fixable by a Dm by removing said background.

Yes, I did it as background. Do I need to be online with my character?

You do I think. I'd suggest putting on the -dm badge, hopefully someone will grab you.

Issue has been resolved by DM Rainbow in game as GrumpyCat suggested. Removed slave background. Thank you!
