Shadovar Shadowmage In Cordor Shadowplane

I ran into some Shadovar Shadowmages today, that I believe are still the old ones that have been replaced elsewhere in the module.
I'm not sure if it's intended that they were left as is, or if it's a simple oversight that they haven't been replaced by the less... unkillable versions. (I know the old ones have their 'weaknesses')

There are Shadomage NPCs in the shadow plane that are tagged hostile and will attack you on sight but are still "unkillable".
