Re: No Home Port - Constant Companion
This is a known issue of sorts. The Return feature can't work if the ship's home port is in a different server than Surface. This affects the Constant Companion as well as the two Iron Throne Courier rentals in Guldorand. I presume this is a technical limitation with this cross-server nature, and a...

No Home Port - Constant Companion
It appears as though there is no option to return the Andunor charter vessel, The Constant Companion, to it’s home port once it is taken out to sea. I have not found a related post which mentions this, so am unaware if it is a known issue.

Shipkiller Storm and The Dreaded Hag (Undeath Ship)
That was the most fun I’ve had to date on board ship. Completely unnerved. Thank you DM Butterfly. One heck of a wild ride!

Diving Bell
Diving could be improved by attaching a bell to the bell, so folks diving without ship access/control can easily notify folks on deck to lower and raise the bell once they are prepared.

Re: How could a land-based version of the ship system work?
I have concerns about the team based, rp-lite PvP that can come from ship combat. These concerns are small because the ship system is optional. I think that we should find ways to improve the ship system (as it relates to roleplay) in its isolated place before we consider implementing it elsewhere....

So what is the problem with making the highest sailing score available to characters not built for such purpose. Sail benefit scaling is flat. The bonuses from having scores that are only achievable by sail focused characters are so massive that they make participation impossible for anyone who did...

Re: Sail Skill
Land lubbers are land lubbers and sea rats are sea rats. I don’t think everyone should be able to sail like a pro. It’s a niche skill for those who play at sea. Why should everyone excel at it? Those who lack skill just need to hire a crew to sail them around. Which encourages RP. I think the curren...

Re: Pirate Citizinship
It would be far easier to simply create a character that is not a pirate, if you wish to be involved in surface Governorship. There is nothing to stop pirates from attempting to influence/strong arm government officials. Pirates already have Sencliff and the Guldorand Freeport to play out their desi...

As of now, it appears only Brogendenstein cargo writs work properly. Unsure about Cordor, as have not been give writs for that settlement . But Guldorand and Myon do not work as intended. I've done a number of fixes to this. Seems to be working as intended now. Guldorand does get increase on their ...

Description: The Cargo Writ system appears to be broken in Myon, as well. We check the stockpile numbers before making the drop, and after, and there is no difference in numbers. We are getting paid when the resources are turned in, however. ========== Steps to reproduce: Deliver Cargo Writ to Myon....

Re: QoL is Trash!
Yes, this is done currently, but an actual trash barrel would be better, and not subject to any confusion for loot vs. trash. It is a very large preference when it comes to messages being discarded. You don’t want private messages just sat around until a reset. The trash barrel removes evidence quic...

QoL is Trash!
Some of the ships of Arelith do not have a trash barrel on board. This would be a very welcomed amenity.

After obtaining a cargo writ for stone from Guldorand, we went to the Amnish Tradepost on our vessel, The First Sister, to pick up the stone. The stones were loaded onto the ship. After sailing back to the Guldorand docks to unload the shipment, the writ was somehow registered to the Brogendenstein...

There is rumor that +5 sail gear and +5 projectiles have been found, however I can not confirm this. Perhaps a dev could confirm. I don’t believe anyone has actually found these items as of late. Do they still, or have ever existed?

What Sailors Need.
More rentals. Currently none of the rentals have a diving bell. Undersea, right now, is gatekept behind factions and that should be opened up to more of the playerbase. The popularity of sailing these days makes getting a rental during prime time really difficult, especially trawler type ships for s...

Re: New ship Update - Ship PVP
You can stop firing anytime you want to grapple and board. No one has to sink ships. But, if you are in sailing gear, or don’t have a PvP build, it’s a lot safer just to sink your enemy than chance personal combat.

Re: New ship Update - Ship PVP
It is my understanding that when you get sunk on a ship, you may possibly get sent to the death zone. If you die piloting a ship 24 hour rules do apply. However, if you can evacuate and safely leave the ship, the rules in that case likely would not apply. This makes sense, as when you sink a ship an...
