Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2

The Ogre High mage in the broke tooth Tribal Lair in the crystal caverns fights his own allies. Specifically it was the Broke Tooth Fanatic that was attacking it and the Ogre High mage was casting all of it's offensive magic at the fanatic. The other enemies were all focusing me so IDK if they are a...

Re: Kudos to the dale

Oh my, I had no idea that it was being coordinated ooc'ly. That makes a lot of sense, I was thinking it was amazing how many people just kept turning up but in that moment it truly felt like Matar was alone trying to rally the troops. And yes, I'm looking forward to much more "Dale Drama."

Kudos to the dale

Hello, player of Matar here and I really need to give a big thank you and shout out to some seriously great people here. First and foremost: Lobelia. When I first came to the server now that it's on nwn:ee I spent about 2-4 days just being ignored by people as they rushed about and ignored whatever ...

paly/fighter/champion build

I've been following the cookie cutter build 5/5/20 paly/fighter/champion and I'm really liking it so far. A question has come up though about it, in that at level 9 it only lists 1 feat to take, Knockdown, when infact you get 2 feats at that level since it's the level 2 of CoT and level 9. So far I ...

Re: Character Description

I admit my descriptions are often times bad, usually just a paragraph giving a quick description of the character. eye color/hair color/height then general demeanor and finally a noticeable trait like a tattoo or holy symbol. But, when it comes to reading other peoples descriptions the best ones in ...

Re: Monk(especially unarmed) in a weird place?

I would like to see monks get insightful strike where they use there wisdom modifier instead of dex/str for there attack bonus if it's higher, but limit it to only be for unarmed. That way monk is still fine and not buffed for those kama/quaterstaff dips, but also makes it viable to go the wis unarm...

Re: Surfacer races and seeing in the dark

I honestly want to know where the idea that the underdark isn't dark came from. The campaign settings for forgotten realms describe it as lightless. And that light sources are far and few between. yes there are bio-luminescent fungi, but it's not like they're in every single tunnel. If they were not...

Re: Spellsword Negative Imbue Damage, from item

idk if the enemies i'm fighting are just randomly immune to it(the things in the cordor sewers) or what but about half the time they fail the save for the negative imbue now absolutely nothing happens. no extra damage, no healing. https://imgur.com/a/bSpiZ It works normally the first failure then th...

Re: Trap Difficulty Suggestion

nope. West of skaljard there's a derelict tin mine. it's one of the very first quests the mayor can give you. You may be thinking of normal arelith and not the EE server. I haven't seen any mention of a coal or iron mine on here yet but I haven't explored everywhere.

Trap Difficulty Suggestion

I recommend turning down the trap difficulty in the low level area's here. Specifically the tin mines with the xvarts. There's a chest there that has a difficulty so high that it's not possible to spot on a dedicated low level rogue, I stood next to it with search on for a good 2-3 minutes irl, with...

Re: Adventures of NWN:EE!

Adjustments: I'm trying to dl the English-Headstart version. It never does anything. no files created. No dl speed. And it's not my internet, litterally everything else works fine. I'll figure it out eventually or beamdog will respond to my support ticket. Either way i'll figure it out and be on eve...

Warder

Ok, so you wonderful people helped out so much with my last idea i'm back for round two! This time I'm looking to make a mage who focuses mostly on defensive wards. Who's goal is to protect his family/home with the most powerful wards he can make. My thing is, I have 0 idea on how to build a wizard ...

Re: Anti-Magic Monk

Thanks for all the advice everyone! It makes me a little sad that on here the best builds for 'anti-magic' is 'get magic'. I was really hoping there would be a way to stick with the no-magic theme. And as to why halfling? It's because i started with the character concept then moved to making a build...

Re: Anti-Magic Monk

Thanks for the information, i forgot about the dmg-return spells. I would definitely appreciate a new/completely revamped build if it fits with the 'i hate mages' theme whenever you had time. I haven't played nwn in years and even before i stopped i was terrible at builds thus why I'm asking for hel...

Anti-Magic Monk

My entire plan for my character was to have him be a magic hating/hunting hin monk. I worked out a way to get the ki-fist+5 and epic dodge but that required me to use every single epic level feat working towards those leaving out a lot of options/strength. I had planned 25 monk/5 sd and took the ken...

Life Saver Salve

Mark the Life Saver Salve(10 use cure minor wounds) as non-magical so kensai can use it. The description for it is purely mundane, a powder you rub on your wounds, so it doesnt make sense that a kensai can't use it.
