Re: Thread of Disappearance

I'm here to let everyone know I'm still alive but, report my absence will last longer than I have planned, it will be another few months before I can play arelith again. For those whom are interested, the reason for my extensive absence, is in short my parents have taken my daughter away from me and...

Re: The List of FOIG Things

EDIT: Whom is a harper scout is FOIG, what they are, is easily accessible in FR wiki. And in arelithian/Fearunian lore, they''re pretty as much well renown as the zhents. This. And with the harper changes, it's actually utterly neccesary that a person knows oocly what a Harper is, to take the pre-r...

Re: Small quality of life changes

By "outcast races" do you mean humans and half-orcs who select the outcast background? I do yes. Where as gnolls are unique in the sense they're all an auto-outcast race. But they are not an underdarker race. Is a reason why at one point they required 20 rpr. It is also worth noting they used to ha...

Re: Small quality of life changes

Other outcast races don't get under common automatically, and gnolls are an outcast race not an underdarker race. I would rather see gnolls get something like orc-sh in addition instead.

Ie counts as dodge ac, so you lose it along with your dex bonus, when flat footed.

Re: Haks

I believe another consideration is that, with haks, that means that the server might be releasing new haks every now and again, similar to updates. And then we'd have to keep on reinstalling them or we can't login. God forbid there's a glitch in one of the haks, and then the devs have the headache ...

Also Elminster's build breaks Arelith rules.
Well, he's also higher than level 30, so there's more than one rule being busted here.
Well that and the nwn engine doesn't allow for more than three classes per level.

Re: Newbie Guide for real

Make sure to drop evards black tentacles on Stath, Ork and/or DestroyerOTN, when they are in your party and resting, it'll revive their spells and health much faster.

If your name is Stath, Ork and/or DestroyerOTN, always hit -delete_character twice, it's the new -save.

Take it from someone that's done it before: Always drop Mords on your party members before fighting bosses with Acid Sheathe. Especially if their player names are Stath, Ork and/or DestroyerOTN. These three players find having mord's and implosions dropped on them very useful before boss fights. Ot...

Re: Newbie Guide for real

If you're partied with Stath, always logout on him during a boss fight.

Dropping dispels on him in especially during a boss fight is equally as helpful.

Make sure have enough lenses for everyone in your party with exception of Stath when traveling in the deserts of sibayad.

Then shouldn't they be svartalfen? D&d stole the word and bastardized it's original meaning like they always do. Also are more than one word and one kind to historical evil fey folk. For example goblin also usually is a reference to evil elves in the historical sense. But while we're discussing sva...

Undead summons follows the undead summoner chart which adds your entire combine total of pm/wizard /cleric levels all together as I understand it.

Spell slots is nwn vanilla, with the arelith modifaction it now adds cl for every two levels of pm. With exception of undead summons.
