Not bothering is one way.
Monk levels another.
Divine shield for the cha version if you're nasty/trolling.

Blood Magic Stream
A toggle that lets you swap to using blood magic, dealing HP damage to yourself for casting spells.
Maybe a small bonus to doing so, like non-use of spell components, or a caster level boost.

Shadow Mage Revamp
It's so thematic, but not great mechanically. Warlock and PM are proof we can have both, so lets get after it. Keep this: Entry into a modified use shadowdancer class, and +2 to Necro, Illu, and Ench DCs, HIPS at 20. Change This: Instead of losing all Evo, they lose all 'light' spells (Light, sunbur...

Re: Solution to the incoming PM problem
They are meta af now what are you on I was thinking of wizard palemasters (26 wizard/4 bard makes a great necromancer) sorry. Im still in denial that bard palemasters exist. (Seems thematically odd that the only viable palemaster is one built on a class that is meant to sing). Dirgesinger dog

Re: Are Shadows Evil?
The shadows that shadowdancers summon IG are True Neutral Outsiders, to answer your actual question. I believe the illusionary ones that Shades now summons (the character copies) are as well.

Re: Quarter locks
Why should rogues be able to steal from other players? Is it to simulate RL? I'm genuinely curious - rogues can open chests in epic dungeons finding better loot than most other classes - how is that not a nice perk? If things are lacking for rogues to steal - make epic challenging dungeons where an...

If stuff like energy drain and ray of enfeeblement could do a roll readout like the animal buffs do, that'd be dope.

Re: My View on Arelith
Comment 1: The best thing for you to do is alter your perspective of what Andunor is. It is /not/ a Surface town. House Freth and House Claddath are the two powers. It is better to see it as Skullport. To make Andunor 'Drow Only' would mean stripping it of 80% of it's NPCs, most of it's guard, and ...

I'd love to see a compelling (read: not just the word 'roleplay') reason people should be able to steal from quarter chests anyway. Into a quarter to spy, sure. But the chest?

Re: Quarter locks
Problem with lowering the high end of the locks is that it's binary. If someone can get into your place once, they can get into your place every 24 hours. You're eventually cleaned out. Lemme just summarize the last fifty threads about this since June: The Thief Side: We should be able to get into p...

In the underdark. Not near mushrooms (Yes, even the tiny ones).
So far I've had this happen in Underdark (Upper) Peninsula (drider area) and whatever the gnoll area north of the Myconid zone is called.

Warlock Fight!
You've stumbled into a pair of dueling warlocks! Interfere and they'll briefly ally to destroy you!
What's It Is: Two warlock npcs of different type. Fiend, fey, etc, with level-scaled abilities, blasting/meat-shielding each other.

I found, buried in my seven million logins, the weirdest thing I've ever made. It's level two. It has this stat spread: https://i.gyazo.com/fd8a0c563aeaa70e3932a7db1b5f71c3.png And it's.. a weavemaster. I don't remember why. I don't remember what I thought I was doing. Oh word? Yea, do that then. It'd just need to be coded so you can't rage with a greatsword then switch to a scimitar.

Remember seeing somewhere that they were being reworked, so here's a couple ideas I've had: Giant-kin One of your ancestors was giant, or at least giant-adjacent Medium races only. Effect: You are 10?% larger (since PCs can be resized with EE), gain +1 str/-1 dex, and cannot wield tiny weapons. Fien...

I'm pretty sure that'd stop them from benefiting from bard song, though. Possibly -twohand damage, for that matter. I think the game only allows certain 'sources' of damage to overlap.

Re: Monk(especially unarmed) in a weird place?
That's not what would happen. Anyway, uncanny dodge is a necessary feat on anyone with even a little dex because of how completely broken the combat pathfinding is. EE made it worse by having characters take random 15 foot backsteps and drop out of combat every two rounds. It's more a safeguard agai...
