It's not a perfect system, but it's probably the least worst.

Take a hint from 5e, make cantrips unlimited and give them damage scaling? Nothing impressive, but enough to keep them in the game.

I met Pig once on a Pirate character - and from all my interactions in the brief life of that character, he was the only one who acted towards me exactly like a pirate would - obnoxious, aggressive and utterly lacking of respect, while at the same time just being a champ OOC.

You need to use a lasso.

For a time thought the lasso and climbing rope served identical purposes and I really wish they did, but unfortunately it's a case by case thing.

Sometimes, one works and sometimes the other.

I can’t tell you how many times I put up an item for a decent price under market value only to see it purchased relatively fast and put up in another shop at market value. Capitalists - capitalists everywhere!

ESPECIALLY blade rune components which are notoriously expensive.

The UD server has close to no areas that will make you crash. The only one I found was Greyport authority port thing. So while you're waiting (possibly for ever), you can still have quite a bit of fun in the UD. This is no longer true, the hub now crashes my iPadOS client as well. So much for gamin...

Logged in first time after the patch, used -fate normally (I was level 29 at the time,), changed servers to CP, tried again, it gave the message above. I had levelled to 30 in the meantime.

Ditto with haste. It mostly seems to occur when I am using a henchman and a summon, using mass haste, occasionally the spell on the summon simply doesn't stick or vanishes shortly after cast . I have been unable to reproduce it.
